The Mica Hammond Fund intends to award approximately two $1000 scholarships annually to needs-based families of children with rare or undiagnosed diseases to help those children or immediate family members attend college/education.
Eligibility
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- High school senior
- Enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university
- Diagnosed with qualifying disability or special need
Application Process

- Upload all required documents, such as transcript
- Upload optional documents such as letter of recommendation and/or resume to possibly increase your chances of winning.
The Mica Hammond Fund wants to help ensure they can take advantage of their unique experience being part of these special families, and help others, by helping fund their education. Selection of award recipients will be based on the merits of the submitted materials. The scholarship can only be used for tuition or similar and will be sent directly to the recipient's college/school account - not directly to the student. Ineligible recipients include Fund members/administrators/selectors and past recipients.
