Wondering how you’ll pay for college? We’ll help you find a way. Every year WSU awards approximately $170 million in scholarships, grants, and waivers. Completing the WSU General Scholarship Application and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) puts you in the running for these major scholarships, plus many more. We’ll consider you for all the awards that fit your qualifications, and you could end up receiving more than one. What type of students are we looking for? Community leaders, academic innovators, and committed scholars. The WSU Regents Scholars Program recognizes Washington’s top high school students.

The WSU Regents Scholars Program recognizes Washington’s top high school students. The Regents Scholars Program has two award levels: the Distinguished Regents Scholar (full tuition and mandatory fees for up to 18 credits per semester, for four years), and the Regents Scholar ($4,000 per academic year for four years. All qualified nominees who complete the admission and scholarship application process by the deadline will receive this award.) The Regents Scholar award cannot be combined with the University Achievement Award (UAA), Distinguished University Achievement Award (DUAA), or National Merit Scholarship. Distinguished Regents Scholar recipients are also unable to combine the WSU visitation award with their scholarship.
