Scholarship Description
Joon Care is a teletherapy company for teens and young adults that integrates the benefits of one-on-one therapy sessions with a mobile app-based experience. Our approach is evidence-based, skills-focused and personalized for each individual client. We are providing this scholarship because there’s just not enough mental health professionals out there. We recognize that. The demand for mental health care is overwhelming and continues to grow. In order to solve these challenges, we will need the brightest minds working on these problems. Though this scholarship will not solve the issue, we hope to support at least one student to pursue a degree and career in mental health care.ADVERTISEMENT
Whether your career goal is to be a clinical psychologist, school counselor, social worker or software developer inventing the next generation of technology for mental health care, we'd love to hear from you. Applicants must be a legal U.S. resident who is eighteen years of age or older at time of submission, a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or masters level student. Applicants must submit an essay, 500 words or less. All entries must be submitted by November 10th. Only one submission will be reviewed per applicant.
