Scholarship Description
The Shon Shadrick Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student who is majoring in special education. To be eligible for the Shon Shadrick Memorial Scholarship, applicants must be a citizen of the United States, and they must have a minimum overall GPA of at least a 2.5. Applications must be completed and delivered to Lindsey's Family Restaurant by the specified due date. The scholarship money will be paid to the winner's college after confirmation of enrollment and attendance is confirmed.ADVERTISEMENT
Besides completing the application, applicants must also submit a valid college transcript majoring in special education, two letters of recommendation (one academic and one personal); and an essay (one full page, typed, single-spaced and in a 12 point font) explaining why they have chosen to pursue studies in the field of special education and why should they be chosen for this scholarship. This scholarship was established in honor of Shon Shadrick, who was the nephew of Lindsey's Restaurant owner.
