Scholarship Description
The NAAMLP Scholarship is to assist in the education of students whose intention is to work as scientists, engineers or technicians in the field of mine land reclamation. A scholarship will be given to three undergraduate students and one graduate student according to the following criteria: 1) an undergraduate student enrolled in a school in the Eastern region of the United States; 2) an undergraduate student enrolled in a school in the Mid-Continent region of the United States; 3) an undergraduate student enrolled in a school in the Western Region of the United States and; 4) to a graduate student enrolled in a school located anywhere within the United States.ADVERTISEMENT
NAAMLP is a non-profit, professional organization that promotes the reclamation and restoration of lands affected by abandoned mining throughout the nation. The number of scholarships awarded is at the discretion of the NAAMLP committee and will be awarded at the annual NAAMLP conference. Scholarship applications must be received by midnight eastern time on the given due date. They may be mailed or emailed to the scholarship administrator. Emailed applications must be in PDF format and all items must be included in one PDF.
