Scholarship Description
BNSF is a critical link that connects consumers with the global marketplace. For more than 160 years, BNSF has played a vital role in building and sustaining this nation's economy. The AISES Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship is made available to American Indian high school seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher who reside in one of the 23 states serviced by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corporation and its affiliated companies.ADVERTISEMENT
Applicants must be: an enrolled citizen or a decedent of an enrolled citizen of a federal or state recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native Village; or Native Hawaiian or decedent from a Native Hawaiian; or Pacific Islander or decedent from Pacific Islander; or Indigenous person of Canada. Those awarded must maintain a 2.75 GPA their freshman and sophomore years and a 3.0 GPA their junior and senior years to receive scholarships for all four years.
