Scholarship Description
Our family-owned company started in 1980 and over the years, one farmer’s passion has grown into our global commitment to small animal health. Our rich history is rooted in hard work, entrepreneurial ingenuity and values that are still in place today. At Oxbow, we know that today’s students are tomorrow’s veterinary leaders. The annual Oxbow Academic Scholarships provide financial support to aspiring veterinarians and vet techs, as well as other future animal health professionals. Since 2005, we have been proud to support the future of veterinary medicine through this important annual program.ADVERTISEMENT
Non-traditional animal species are becoming more popular as pets throughout the world. There is a greater need for veterinarians who specialize in care and nutrition of these exotic pets. Oxbow’s Veterinary Medicine Scholarship is for students currently enrolled in a veterinary school and demonstrate an interest in small and exotic animal medicine. Scholarship recipients will be announced in May on our website, and scholarships are paid directly to the school in September.
