Scholarship Description
Since its inception, LAHC has continued to grow and develop initiatives that have expanded to serve members of the community through diverse programs and initiatives that serve children, youth, seniors and families regardless of race, religion, age, ethnicity, gender, country of origin and sexual orientation. LAHC currently serves more than 50,000 individuals annually. LAHC’s mission is to empower communities, one family at a time, by advancing the educational, social, health and economic well-being of Michigan residents.ADVERTISEMENT
LAHC is proud and privileged to be recognized as a leading advocate of higher education and to have the distinction of offering one of the largest scholarship assistance programs in the area. Throughout the past thirty two years, LAHC has awarded nearly $1.5 million dollars in academic scholarships to area students. Applicants must be high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the Unites States and reside in the state of Michigan, have a 3.7 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
