The four National Finalists who do not become the National Winner will have their doodles featured on the Doodle for Google gallery. Each National Finalist will receive a $5,000 scholarship, a trip to Google headquarters in California, Google hardware, and fun Google swag. All state and territory winners will have their doodles featured on the Doodle for Google gallery, Google hardware, and an assembly celebration at their school, as well as fun Googley swag.

This year’s Doodle for Google theme is:
    "I am grateful for…"

Taking a step back to think about what we’re grateful for can be a great way to take care of our mental health and refocus on what’s most important. What moments, people, places and things are special to you? What or whom can you not imagine living without? What are the things that get you through the day? Our theme this year encourages you to share what you appreciate most.

We're excited to see some great Doodles this year! Students can work with any materials they want, but all Doodles must be entered using the entry form. Parents and teachers can mail us the completed entry form or submit it online as a png or jpg. The contest is open for entries until the due date at 11:59 p.m. PST, so here's some information to help you get started:

    1. Print out and complete each field on the form. To be accepted, all entries need your school info, a title and description, and most importantly, a signature from your parent/guardian.

    2. Create your Doodle. You can create directly on the form or on a separate sheet of paper, using any materials you want. Keep in mind that you will later need to attach it to the form with glue or clear tape. If you are creating your doodle with other materials, you will need to take a hi-res photo of your art, print it and attach it.

    3. Now get your masterpiece to us! The contest is open for entries until March 14th at 11:59 p.m. PT. Online (Recommended): Scan/photograph your completed form and enter it at doodles.google.com/d4g/enter/. If you're submitting via photo, take a high res photo in good lighting. Note that the file format must be .png or .jpeg. By Mail: Scan and print out your completed form. Send your entry to us via postal mail.

There Will be Fifty-Four State and Territory Winners:
