Scholarship Description
The Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship program remains the leader in both the dollar amount awarded and the number of recipients. Fifty-eight (58) scholarships are awarded each academic year to help childhood cancer survivors achieve their academic and professional goals. Nearly $1.5 million has been awarded to 184 survivors since the program’s inception. Applicants must be a childhood cancer survivor under the age of 25 and diagnosed before the age of 18 with cancer or a high grade or anaplastic brain tumor; A citizen of the United States living within the country and attending school in the U.S. Must be accepted into a post-secondary school for the fall semester of upcoming academic year.
