Scholarship Description
The goal of Professional BusinessWomen of California's Academic Scholarship Program is to help the young women leaders of tomorrow begin their studies with a community of support. Award recipients must demonstrate excellence in leadership, involvement and impact on community building, notable or unique academic or work achievements, and potential for future success through career planning and goal setting.ADVERTISEMENT
The Program is open to all high school seniors who are women and California residents. In addition to completing an application form, applicants will also need to provide: A personal essay, including autobiographical information and career plans. You must also include your statement on leadership as requested in the instructions within the form and three (3) letters of recommendation, including two from academic references. The PBWC Board of Directors & Scholarship Committee will review your application after the scholarship window closes. Completed scholarship applications and supporting documentation must be submitted electronically and received by 11:59 PM PST on January 27th. Scholarship winners will be notified in March 2021. Each winner will receive a ticket to our annual conference.
