Scholarship Description
Obtain an exceptional education at an affordable price at Rutgers University. We are the only New Jersey research university included in Kiplinger's 100 Best Values in American public colleges and universities. Financial aid consists of a variety of grants, scholarships, loans, or work-study. Rutgers uses your FAFSA or NJAFAA to develop a financial aid package based on your financial information, need, and the funds available to the university. Rutgers offers a variety of gift aid to first-year and transfer students based on merit and need.ADVERTISEMENT
Admitted students who apply by December 1 will be considered for merit-based awards. Scholarships are highly competitive. Scholarship offers are based on a careful and thorough review of information provided in the application, a student’s academic strengths and performance, and financial need. Other factors considered when awarding scholarships is the overall competitiveness of the applicant pool and available funding. There is no specific set of academic credentials that guarantees an award. No separate application is required, and scholarships are renewable provided the student maintains full-time enrollment status and meets the minimum academic criteria set for each scholarship. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider’s website.
