Scholarship Description
The Tim Sloan Teammate Scholarship will be awarded to two high school seniors who volunteer at Every Body Athletics (EBA). Each teammate has a multitude of admirable qualities that help shape the fun and positive environment at EBA. The main prerequisites for this scholarship are simply people who are kind, inclusive and a friend to all. The application also calls for a self-evaluation on the level of reliability and responsibility that applicants have demonstrated during their time as a volunteer.ADVERTISEMENT
With these characteristics in mind, it should come as no surprise that this scholarship award is named after Tim Sloan, an EBA athlete who exemplified all three traits to perfection. Tim was one of the very first athletes to walk through the doors at EBA, and the legacy of unconditional love and kindness that he leaves behind will always and forever be a part of the EBA Family. Tim’s gentle heart touched a lot of people while he was with us, and this award serves as a small way to honor someone who had such a big impact.
