Scholarship Description
To be eligible for the NYCT Armenian Scholarships, applicants must: be of Armenian descent; be an incoming or continuing full-time undergraduate student attending a school in the U.S.; be a permanent resident of New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut; be able to demonstrate financial need; and be in good academic standing (the scholarships have no minimum GPA requirement, but require good academic standing as defined by the applicant’s school to demonstrate that the applicant is making satisfactory progress and eligible for continued enrollment).ADVERTISEMENT
First time applicants are asked to submit a personal statement and two letters of recommendation to accompany their application. This program is made possible by the Hazaros Tabakoglu; Hagop, Arousiag, and Arpy Kashmanian; and Anni P. Nalbandian Memorial scholarship funds. This scholarship is provided by The New York Community Trust, which connects past, present, and future generous New Yorkers with vital nonprofits working to make a healthy, equitable, and thriving community for all.
