Scholarship Description
Applicants for the Susan Schulman Begley Memorial Scholarship (Only available in the Spring) must identify as a woman, who is establishing herself as a head of household and a single parent, and due to extreme circumstances, following the dissolution of an abusive or emotionally traumatic relationship, has no other adequate financial means, and requires funds to meet immediate needs for herself and her children, including rent & food. In order to apply, students must: Currently be enrolled or accepted in Spring and planning to attend next Fall; Live and attend school in Los Angeles County.ADVERTISEMENT
Funding is distributed directly to the schools on the following school term. Funds are paid in full and are not fee specific. Students in their last term are not eligible to apply. The Student Aid Report is no longer required to demonstrate financial need. Financial need will be determined based on essay.
