Scholarship Description
To be eligible for the NCITD Scholarship Program, applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing either an undergraduate or graduate degree related to international trade studies, such as political science, international relations, economics, international business, international law, international finance, etc. at an accredited U.S. college or university (including study abroad programs affiliated with a U.S. college or university). Applicants must be at least an incoming junior, have a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate interest or experience in international trade, e.g., education, work, volunteering, or any other extracurricular activities related to international trade. This is open to both domestic and international students.ADVERTISEMENT
Besides completing the application, applicants must also submit: a current resume; a copy of the most recent transcript; a letter of recommendation from an employer or professor (preference will be given to candidates with a letter(s) of recommendation from a sponsoring NCITD member); and a brief narrative (2,000 word maximum) explaining the career in international trade they intend to pursue, their experience in international trade activities, and their interest in international trade, that supports your consideration for the NCITD Scholarship.
