Scholarship Description
PM Legacy Scholarship funds will be awarded in the amount of $1500 each to 30 selected applicants. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, leadership potential, participation in extracurricular or community activities, letters of recommendation and evaluation of essay submission. Applicant must be a resident of, or attending college in, Pennsylvania, Georgia, or the Washington DC Metropolitan Area (DMV).ADVERTISEMENT
Applicant must be entering or enrolled in an accredited college or university and must have a letter of acceptance from the college or university they will be attending, with a major in the area of Human Services (psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, nursing, home health, public health, or public administration). Applicant must have a 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average and submit a 500-1000 word essay with the topic: "My Impact on Humanity", describing how you will use your Human Services degree to impact humanity and your community in a positive way. Essays should be typed and double-spaced.
