Scholarship Description
The Mahmoud S Taman Foundation is granting scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing an education with an emphasis in Islamic studies. The Foundation's intent is to support a new, young generation of Islamic scholars who will provide progressive responses in the teaching and outreach of Islam.ADVERTISEMENT
Applicants must be Muslims who are undergraduate or graduate students attending college in the current academic year at an accredited US institution at the graduate or undergraduate levels, majoring in Islamic Studies or a related degree such as Islamic History, demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in community service, religious service, extracurricular or other activities, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
