The Connecticut Academy of Audiology Scholarship has been established to recognize a Doctor of Audiology student who embodies the leadership, commitment, and educational standards necessary to become a successful Doctor of Audiology.The $1500.00 scholarship will be awarded in June.ADVERTISEMENT
The winner will be notified by email and a letter and the award will be mailed to the recipient's home address. While there are no restrictions on how the money is to be spent, the intent is for it to be used toward education. All requested information must be received no later than May 1st by the Connecticut Academy of Audiology’s scholarship committee.
To be eligible the student must be a resident of the State of Connecticut (copy of driver’s license required if attending adoctoral program out of state) or attending an audiology doctoral program in the state of Connecticut. Must be enrolled in a four-year Doctor of Audiology program and be a 1st year, full-time student in a Doctor of Audiology program. Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation that describe clinical and academic abilities.These letters may be from faculty members or supervisors of practicum and a completed application form along with a transcript of all graduate coursework.
