The Exceptional Youth Scholarship recognizes deserving high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and commitment to community service.
Scholarship Details
- Ten scholarships of $10,000 each
- Recognizes youth who have demonstrated remarkable conduct through community service efforts, volunteerism, and mentorship activities
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a high school senior at time of application
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must have completed the FAFSA
- Must have devoted a mimimum of 100 hours to community service, volunteer work, or mentorship during high school
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Application Requirements
- High school transcript(s)
- Email addresses for two recommenders:
- School Recommendation (form within the application)
- Community Service Recommendation (form within the application)
- FAFSA:
- FAFSA Submission Summary which includes the Student Aid Index (SAI)
- Student Aid Index (SAI)
- Letter of acceptance from college/university you will attend
- Cost of attendance for that college/university
- Financial aid award letter from that college/university
A total of ten (10) high school seniors will each be awarded a one-time scholarship of $10,000 to be applied towards the cost of attendance including tuition, housing, books, and other on-campus related expenses at accredited, four-year colleges and universities in the United States. Within 24 hours of submitting a request to the recommender’s email address, please check
with them to confirm they received the link to the online form. The email will come from Global
