Scholarship Description
The Quatrefoil Library David Norris Memorial Scholarship is a one-time, $1,000 scholarship open to all high school seniors or students who are/will be attending college or university within the State of Minnesota. Quatrefoil is one of the country’s oldest and largest LGBTQ+ lending libraries and also serves as a community center.ADVERTISEMENT
Eligibility: Limited to students enrolled in or planning to attend a college (including vocational or technical) or university in the State of Minnesota; Applicants must have a current cumulative high school or college GPA of 3.0 or above; Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in a liberal arts (such as library sciences, literature, history, gender/sexuality studies, philosophy, social sciences, mathematics, or physical sciences) bachelor or similar program; Applications must be received in email or postmarked no later than July 15th; Successful scholarship candidates will demonstrate quality academic performance shown through a combination of grades and involvement; be a proven leader in their school, community or peer group; and demonstrate sincere commitment to some form of community service or helping others.
