Scholarship Description
The Ohio Spartan Grant automatically awards a minimum of $10,000 to Ohio residents who are admitted to Michigan State University as an incoming freshman pursuing an undergraduate degree. This grant is renewable for four years as long as the recipient continues to meet the criteria outlined in the out-of-state scholarship regulations. Michigan State's application for admissions, including the required essay, is sufficient for award consideration. Grant recipients may also be eligible for additional merit-based scholarships at MSU.ADVERTISEMENT
MSU will review your GPA (weighted if available) for ninth through 11th grades. Should you choose to submit a test score, only your best ACT or SAT test score will be used. MSU does not superscore tests. Students who choose to apply without a test score will be eligible for scholarships based on high school performance and a holistic review of their application material. Michigan State University offers scholarships to incoming domestic out-of-state first-year students for tuition purposes, pending available funding.
