Scholarship Description
Through the generous support of our alumni and community, LR can offer almost all enrolled students some level of financial aid. Academic, merit, talent, need-based and other scholarships are also available for qualified and deserving students. At Lenoir-Rhyne, we strive to make higher education as accessible as possible, recognizing that paying for college is a top concern for students and their families. Very few of our students pay the full tuition because we offer scholarships, financial aid, loans and payment plans. The L-R Scholars Program awards freshman students in recognition of academic achievement during the student's high school career and based on the student's high school grade point average and SAT or ACT scores at the time of admission into L-R. The L-R Scholars Program also awards transfer students in recognition of academic achievement during the student's attendance at a previous college(s) and based on the student's grade point average at the time of admission into L-R.
