Scholarship Description
We are committed to helping you finance your college education. JSU offers several types of scholarships to help defray the cost of attending school for new and continuing students. JSU-funded scholarships are non "refundable," and unused funds cannot be carried over to subsequent semesters. Each scholarship may be regulated by a different set of requirements. Some scholarships are automatically offered; some require an application. Criteria will vary by each scholarship.ADVERTISEMENT
Each year, we award thousands of dollars in scholarships to our talented, hard-working theatre and film students. The JSU Alabama Theatre and Film Scholarships are awarded through an audition and/or portfolio review process. All students also participate in interviews with the faculty. Scholarships are only available for students with a major in theatre or film. For all scholarships you will prepare a resume of theatre or film related experience to upload for the application, please submit as a pdf. Any video materials for virtual auditions should be submitted as links to either YouTube or Vimeo. Dollar amounts will vary.
