Scholarship Description
Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. “Life is too short to be anything but happy.” These words were not just spoken by Joana D. McKeoun- she truly lived by them each and every day of her life. To be eligible for the Joana D. McKeoun Memorial Scholarship, applicants must be a graduating senior from Heritage High School, pursing an undergraduate degree full time, and have a 3.0 GPA. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary.
