Scholarship Description

The James K. Adams and Arlene L. Adams Foundation accepts applications for financial aid for graduates of the high schools in eastern and central Cumberland County and the high schools in Perry County (homeschooled students are also eligible). Tuition assistance will be awarded based on merit, community involvement, good moral character, the prospect of success or achievement, and financial need for the upcoming academic year (so dollar amounts will vary). Applicants must have applied for further education, including a 2 or 4 year degree program, and disbursement of no-interest tuition loan funds will be made directly to the educational institution at which the student enrolls.

Applications with all supporting materials must be submitted by the deadline to be considered for this year's awards. A new application with all supporting materials is required for each future academic year. You may begin your application process online. After you have started your application, you will be required to mail some materials.

The James K. Adams and Arlene L. Adams Foundation began in 1993 and since then, through its program of financial assistance for post-high school education, has been helping students to grow, develop careers, and give back to their communities. The Foundation supports and encourages students who also value giving back to their community, take an active role in their faith, and take personal responsibility for becoming productive citizens.
