Scholarship Description
The Houston Marathon Foundation offers a scholarship each year to graduating high school students attending a Texas College or university. This scholarship is based on participation in high school cross-country, a student who shows a love of running and community and exemplary performance in school. The scholarship is offered annually to one male and one female student graduating from the Greater Houston Area each year. The amount of the award is $2,500 per year, $10,000 over four years, provided the recipient continues to qualify to receive the award each additional year.ADVERTISEMENT
