Scholarship Description
In order to be eligible for the Scholarship Incentive Program, applicants must: file their current FAFSA by the deadline and demonstrate financial need; and enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited institution in Delaware or enroll fulltime in an out of state, accredited institution in an undergraduate or graduate degree program that is not offered at the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, or Delaware Technical Community College. Minors, non-degree, diploma, certificate, or continuing education programs are not eligible, nor is independent study, individualized majors and other arranged or negotiated programs.ADVERTISEMENT
As part of the Delaware Department of Education, the Delaware Higher Education Office works to ensure that postsecondary education is accessible and affordable for Delaware residents by providing information and financial assistance to students and their families. We administer 14 state-sponsored financial aid programs, which include grants, scholarships and professional incentive programs. One of the awards offered is called the Scholarship Incentive Program.
