Scholarship Description
Welcome to the Sarah R. Opperman Leadership Institute, the premier center for student leadership development in the Midwest. Since 1997, we have empowered individuals to contribute to a more socially responsible world with integrity and conviction. We provide innovative, intentional and inclusive leadership learning opportunities for all our students. Don't miss the opportunity to live, learn, and lead with the nation's best student leaders. Central Michigan University's Leader Advancement scholarship is awarded each year to high school seniors who have distinguished themselves through a record of leadership in their schools and communities. To qualify, students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and demonstrate their leadership potential in the high school or community by submitting a three- to four- page leadership application highlighting their activities.
