Scholarship Description
AFA’s Teens for Alzheimer’s Awareness College Scholarship provides educational funding to college-bound high school seniors who have been impacted by Alzheimer's disease and who reside in the United States, and plan to enter an accredited college or university in the U.S. Applicants are asked to write a 1,500-word maximum essay that describes the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on themselves, their families, or their communities, and what they have learned in light of coping with it.ADVERTISEMENT
Multiple winners are chosen based on their essay scores. The grand prize winner receives $5,000, with additional prizes awarded for runners-up. A valid transcript from your high school must be included in the submission or the application will not be considered. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
