Scholarship Description
The Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Healthcare Careers Scholarship is awarded to students already enrolled or looking to enroll into programs with careers in the healthcare industry. This is available through the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Foundation to all high school seniors or college students who attend Crystal Lake Community School District 155, Marian Central Catholic High School, or McHenry County College. Notification to recipients will be sent out as soon as the Foundation decision has been made.ADVERTISEMENT
Scholarship consideration will be based on a rating scale, which will include thoroughness of comments, information verification and explanation, presentation of materials and financial need. The Advocate Scholarship was created to: support students' education as future health care workers assist in fulfilling the mission of Chamber Foundations'; and to provide funds, education, resources, and training that inspires, connects, and promotes new community, leadership, and commerce opportunities.
