Established by private donors and DuPont Crop Protection to honor and recognize James C. Borel for his active participation, support, leadership, and guidance to agricultural education, DuPont Crop Protection business and the National FFA Organization. Borel is executive vice president for DuPont and served as the 2002 National FFA Foundation Sponsors' Board Chair.
Eligibility: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. History of academic excellence and public service required. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required. Applicant must have served as chapter, state or national FFA officer. Preference will be given to a student who has exhibited exemplary leadership skills in their home, school, and community.
