AtlanticProCare, New England’s leading provider of customized mobility solutions for amputees, is offering a scholarship opportunity for Maine students who are amputees or are being treated for scoliosis. The scholarship provides $1000 for secondary education, and is open to any amputee or scoliosis patient who is a legal resident in the state of Maine and who has been accepted full time at an accredited two- or four-year college in the US. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors with a record of volunteerism in the community in non-school sponsored activities and be able to show participation in extracurricular school activities. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, a total family annual income under $75,000, and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school.
