We're almost midway through November, National Scholarship Month, already and now is the time to search, find and apply for scholarships. Below, we have put together a list of scholarships specifically for women, all with deadlines this month.

Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Award

Maximum Award: $16,000
Deadline: November 15th

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards (formerly known as the Women's Opportunity Awards) assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects. Applicant must be a female who provides the primary financial support for herself and her dependents.

WTS Portland Scholarships

Maximum Award: $7,000
November 27th

WTS offers six annual scholarships for women, ranging in value from $2,500 to $7,000. The minimum criteria for selection are: Open to all women; GPA of 3.0 or higher; Current resident of Oregon or Southwest Washington; Currently a high school senior or undergraduate student; Pursuing/considering a college degree in a transportation-related field.

Sahara Hope Scholarship For Women Empowered To Change The World

Maximum Award: $5,000
November 15th

Applicants must be women who are currently admitted/enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university with a cumulative GPA (at the most recent education level) of 3.0 and must currently reside in the United States. Extra consideration will be given to applicants impacted by domestic violence and to applicants with an education/career in sexual health.

1,000 Dreams Fund's Twitch BroadcastHER Grant

Maximum Award: $1,500
November 13th

The 1,000 Dreams Fund BroadcastHER Grant provides financial assistance to eligible women to help with expenses such as travel to gaming conventions, educational conferences, hardware upgrades, and instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits. This grant is not intended for everyday expenses (e.g., utility bills, food costs) or costs related to medical care. Our grant was created to support women including cis women, trans women, trans feminine, and those who face disparities and discrimination in correlation to misogyny and identity.

Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship

Maximum Award: $10,000
November 15th

The $10,000 Fellowship is awarded annually to up to 30 women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences. It may be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees in these fields. Since the program’s inception in 1938, Zonta has awarded 1,704 Amelia Earhart Fellowships, totaling more than $11.3 million, to 1,275 women from 76 countries.

Helene M. Overly Memorial Graduate Scholarship

Maximum Award: $5,000
November 21th

The WTS Foundation awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in transportation through undergraduate and graduate programs. The scholarships are competitive and based on the applicant's specific transportation goals, academic record and transportation-related activities or job skills. To be eligible for the Helene M. Overly Memorial Graduate Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in a graduate degree program in a transportation-related field such as engineering, planning, finance or logistics.
